Anthony Heye, a San Antonio native, began his journey in 1978 at Speed & Sport Warehouse as a stock and delivery worker. Within weeks, his drive pushed him into customer service and sales, quickly expanding his role in the fast-paced drag racing industry.

By the early ’80s, his focus shifted toward trucks and 4×4 performance, inspired by early innovators in lift kits—sparking the passion that would define his career.

What started in the drag racing world quickly shifted into a true passion for trucks and performance. After 25 years in the industry, Anthony took a leap—helping launch a successful business before starting his own, Anthony’s Planet Pickup, in 1999.

With just two employees and big determination, Anthony and his wife Nanette built the business from the ground up. Through hard work and dedication, it grew into a 12,000 sq. ft. facility with a full team, proudly serving customers to this day.
